All is well and Mei has adjusted great! She adores her Daddy and loves to smile. She's a great baby!!! She eats well and sleeps even better! Rarely does she get up at night. She has learned to sit up (with a few pillows in place for saftey) and loves to chat!
The food has been good for Kev, I haven't venture to eat much more than white rice & beer. Our travel group is great. A few minor colds except for 1 person who has a sinus issue. The babies all look great and have adjusted well.
The local people in Nanchang were so friendly. We all felt like movie starts. Everyone wanted to talk to us and see the babies. The paprents would send their children over to talk to the mei mei's . Very cute.
I had a few dresees made for the girl and tomorrow we are going to the pearl market to do a little shopping. Today we did some paper work, not too streeful. Our guides have been wonderful and so nice. Gui Lin in Nanchang was so kind. Sanson, our guide now is great too.
We are really enjoying ourselved and bonding with Mei. Can't wait for you all to meet her. What a great new baby to join our family. We have been very lucky how well adjusted Mei has been. The group jokes that she never cries and that she is always smling. She cries at the right times- hungry, changing... and on Gotcha Day.
Hope you're all enjoying the photos. Travel days are hard to post, so I do when I can & the computer works. I would love to put on a few video clips, but it hasn't worked yet. Keep your fingers crossed, maube this time.
Beijing was fun, but very rowde and poor air quality. Nanchand was in a smog too. I feel like I can finally breath in Guangzhou. We walked to have Mei do her physical exam this morning. A bit crowded and zooy, but Samson had it all under contril. Mei went into 3 different rooms to do height, weight, etc. 20 lbs & 77 cm long. One baby weighed 26lbs. WOW! I think the smallest was about 16lbs.
Last night after traveling we enjoyed room service w/ a big cheese burger. It never tasted soooooo gooooood!
On Monday night we are going on a group dinner boat ride. One of the little girls in the group is turning 4 and we are having a cake for her. She reminds me of the kids and makes it easier to be away from them for soooo long. MISS YOU GUYS!!! XXXOOO We'll be home soon. I think Mom & dad will need a vacation and a few good long naps & massages!
On Tuesday we are going to do a walking tour (pretty city) and then on Wed. we will do the oath taking. That is the last of the process in China! Yah!!! The next day we leave for Hong Kong & then home kids!!!!
The time has gone quickly, but I'm ready to come home. I look forward to seeing the sights this week. It seem like a beautiful and richer area.
