Mei looks great!!! She is healthier & cuttier than we ever imagined!!! Her big sister & brothers couldn't wait to catch a glimps of her updated photos. Currently she is about 21lbs. She still has a beautiful toothless grin. She looks happy, healthy and well loved. Our next step is to obtain our visa and pack. I haven't started stressing that, maybe because I needed Christmas to be over.

Christmas Joy

The best part of Christmas is watching the fun the kids have when opening their presents. Christmas eve always seems so magical. I love playing Santa outside the window, jingling bells and saying Ho, Ho, HO!!! The kids get so excited thinking Santa is so close!!!! I look forward to this Christmas and watching the joy in everyone's eyes. Even though Mei won't be with us, this year we will be able to celebrate Chinese New Year with her! We have all been practicing our dumpling making skills and other Chinese food favorites. Especially our little chef.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!

Welcome back !!!

Welcome Back !!! Everyone is so excited she is back from school !!!! The kids have missed her sooo much!!!

Our wild child rides the surf. Pretty impressive!

Batman is always on his mind!!! This was at the circus. Hot, very hot!

Panda Bear Hugs

Sending Panda Bear Hugs to China! It seems like soooo long ago that the kids and I made this Build A Bear Panda for Mei. They all gave kisses and good wishes for the Panda's heart before we put it in and brought her to "life". We picked out her clothes & bows! Now panda baby waits in the crib to be loved & hugged! The kids made the panda for Mei as a coming home gift! They can't wait to give it to their new mei mei!

Legend of The Red Thread

Chinese folklore says that there are invisible red threads that connect a newborn child's spirit to all the people who will be important in the child's life.
As the child grows, the threads shorten, drawing closer those people who are destined to be together.
The threads are said to never break or fray, binding families and friends forever.
